Fountain of Love Choir Participates in the Jubilee Year Celebrations in Italy and Performs at the Vatican – June–July 2025
The choir took part in the celebrations of the Jubilee Year in Italy from June 29 to July 7, 2025, by performing three official concerts.
The first concert was held in Milan, in collaboration with the Pro Terra Sancta Foundation and the Franciscan Order. This historic church is particularly renowned for housing the first organ in Italy, highlighting its rich musical and spiritual heritage.
The second concert took place in Turin, in cooperation with the SERMIG Movement (Youth Service), and was attended by the movement’s founder and leadership. The program centered around values of peace, unity, and interfaith dialogue through spiritual hymns.
The third and most prominent concert was held at the Basilica of the Holy Cross (Santa Croce) in Florence, one of the most important and iconic churches in the world, in collaboration with the Opera di Santa Croce. The choir presented a rich and diverse program of hymns representing various Christian traditions, including Syriac, Greek, Latin, Coptic, Arabic, Chaldean, Armenian, and Italian.
The three concerts resonated deeply with audiences of different nationalities and cultures, united by the shared language of sacred music. The evenings were marked by a profound spiritual atmosphere that embodied the unity of faith despite the diversity of languages and denominations.
Through its performances, the choir affirmed that spiritual music is a universal language that touches the heart and soul without barriers. The impact on the audience was powerful, as tears of joy blended with prayer and song. This participation stands as a message of hope and peace sent from East to West—carried by a voice that beats with love.
The choir also took part in leading the chanting during the Mass at the Vatican on Sunday, July 6, 2025, where it presented liturgical hymns composed and arranged by the choir itself. This marked the first Jordanian Mass ever celebrated at the Vatican. The FOL choir is considered one of the first Arab choirs to serve at St. Peter’s Basilica.

The “Fountain of Love” Choir was founded in 2002 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in the northern district of Zarqa, where it presented its first Christmas concert, relying on the talents of the school choirs. This was followed by other performances, including a remarkable Easter concert in 2003, in collaboration with the choir and youth group in Zarqa, at the Sacred Heart Church – Greek Catholic – in the southern district.
In 2004, the concerts were performed at the Rosary Sisters Theater – Shmeisani, and in 2005 at the Terra Sancta School Theater in a continued spirit of faith and service. In 2006, the choir made a significant leap forward by organizing the Grand Easter Concert at the Royal Hotel – Amman, attended by more than 1,000 people, making it the most notable concert since its founding.
The choir’s mission was not limited to local performances; it also carried the message of hymnody to various churches. This journey culminated in the release of its first album, “Heal My Soul,” in 2008 at the Cultural Palace – Amman, featuring lyrics and melodies composed by the choir. In 2009, the choir expanded its regional presence with its first trip outside Jordan to Aleppo, Syria, where it presented a diverse concert in collaboration with the Latin Church.
