Fountain of Love Choir
This is the primary adult choir, comprising of around 80 male and female vocalists, as well as musicians from various Christian denominations. Founded in 2002, the choir presents two major annual concerts, one during the Christmas season and another at Easter. Its repertoire features a blend of Western and Eastern classical works, alongside Byzantine and contemporary hymns. In addition to these performances, the choir has performed numerous concerts and participated in several masses on various occasions in Jordan and around the world.
Fountain of Love Kids Choir
The Fountain of Love Children’s Choir—an extension of the main Fountain of Love Choir—was founded in 2017 by Mr. Imad Basal with the aim of nurturing a spiritually and socially conscious generation through chanting and engagement in musical activities. The children’s choir began its journey with its first Christmas concert in 2017, starting with a small number of participants. By God’s grace, the number has since increased to around 55 members.
Choir Achievements:
• Performing Christmas and spiritual concerts (two annually)
• Recording and producing numerous spiritual and national projects
• Performing alongside various musical choirs
• Teaching children music and developing their artistic talents
• Contributing to the promotion of music and culture among children and communities beyond Jordan (including participation in the 2024 Hungary Celebrations in Budapest)
• Taking part in numerous national celebrations with charitable associations (singing at national events)
Praying Community
As part of its mission, the choir actively engages in a prayer-centered community consisting of its members, gathering every two months for collective prayer and the exchange of spiritual reflections.
Recently, the choir, in collaboration with the Focolare Movement (Work of Mary), formed a joint prayer group aimed at fostering unity and deepening the experience of shared faith. This group meets every two to three months, bringing members together in prayer and welcoming anyone who wishes to join. The choir plays a key role in these gatherings by leading the hymns, while the Focolare Movement oversees the spiritual content and conducts the accompanying spiritual activities.
