The Fountain of Love Choir toured the countries of Austria, Hungary, and Sweden between July 29 and August 11, 2016, presenting the first Jordanian Oratorio of its composition entitled “Jesus, the Fountain of Love”, which depicts the life of Christ from creation to the Ascension. The tour included concerts at the Franciscan Church in Vienna attended by the Jordanian Consul, at St. Matthias Church in Budapest under the patronage of the Hungarian First Lady, and at one of Hungary’s oldest Benedictine churches on the Tihany Peninsula. The choir also performed in Stockholm in a concert organized by “Musicians Without Borders.”
The tour contributed to cultural exchange, with Hungarian and Swedish choirs planning visits to Jordan in the following months, and the choir receiving invitations to perform in other Scandinavian countries. The Jordan Tourism Board accompanied the choir during the trip as part of efforts to promote tourism in Jordan.
